Just like other pieces of equipment in your facility these pumps and motors need to be maintained. We provide the most thorough Inspection Maintenance Package possible.
Amp and Volt Readings Pre Inspection: To see how the control units are performing electrically and mechanically during operation.
Replace lower Seal: Due to the mechanics of this particular seal this is the number one cause of failure with these type of units.
Check and secure all 30 Wire Connections in the motor by disassembling lifting lug: Just like the connections in your panel the heating and cooling effects loosen connections.
Read out all float sensors and bearing temp sensors: To ensure everything is still functional, and determine if failure is imminent.
Change Oil: we suction it from the top and seal side to ensure a thorough job- If there was any kind of seal failure we find it in the oil. We can then remove contaminates, and suggest a solution to the issue.
Inspect the entire length of the cord for cuts, Knicks and repair them: To prevent water from entering the motor through the cord. This is not something that shows up in a Meg test.
Meg testing of the cord and motor: To check for pre-existing leaks inside the cord or windings.
Inspection of the bearing condition: To predetermine the life of the motor, and or schedule downtime to rebuild. Thus saving additional costs due to planning.
Replace all accessible O-rings as needed: Water can leak in from several places and we need to physically check all points of entry to ensure they are all in good condition.
Check all connections and contacts in central panels: To make sure they have not loosened up over time and are in still in great working order. Make repairs as needed.
Hook-up motors upon completion: To ensure solid connections and to be present for testing upon start-up.
